DaDesktop Use Cases
DaDesktop is designed to support two distinct operational contexts:
- Training and Development Cloud Desktops
- Work Desktops
Training and Development Cloud Desktops
Desktops intended for Training and Development are optimized for performance and ease of use. Provisioning access is straightforward, as any individual with the desktop link can connect seamlessly. This setup is ideal for interactive, instructor-led cloud environments or virtual classrooms that deliver high-quality corporate training. Instructors can monitor student desktops in real-time to observe participation and engagement during online sessions.
To facilitate effective coaching, instructors are equipped with the ability to remotely access a student's desktop when assistance is required.
Training sessions can be recorded with audio, providing a valuable reference for future review.
DaDesktop offers capabilities that extend beyond a standard learning management system.
Work Desktops
Work Desktops (also known as DaDesktop for Work, or dd4w) function as cloud-based workstations for employees. Employers retain full control over the software and data utilized by staff, with all data and communications encrypted for security.
Data Security
Employers can impose restrictions on data access within the cloud desktop to prevent employees from transferring sensitive information externally. By limiting clipboard functionality and restricting access to specific websites, DaDesktop ensures that all data is processed securely within the virtual desktop environment.
Action Logging
User activities are recorded in a highly compact format, allowing for the efficient storage of extensive virtual desktop usage logs for each employee. These recordings can be analyzed to detect and investigate any fraudulent behavior.
Network Security
Access to corporate internal applications can be restricted exclusively to DaDesktop sessions. This approach safeguards confidential information by eliminating the risk of data interception on employees' personal devices.
DaDesktop is a comprehensive virtual office platform.
