DaDesktop is committed to safeguarding the privacy of everyone who uses our services. This document outlines how we gather and handle your personal information, along with the safeguards we have in place to keep that data secure.
We only collect and process personal data where it is strictly needed to deliver our services to you, or for the valid reasons described in this privacy policy. One key thing to understand is that the way data is gathered and kept varies significantly depending on the hosting option you pick.
NobleProg hosted public server
This runs inside a NobleProg data centre (situated within the EU and fully GDPR compliant). It is a communal server for NobleProg clients and can be reached by NobleProg.
If you opt for a server situated beyond the EU, local regulations may come into play. Customer data from the UK is stored within the UK.
NobleProg hosted private server
This operates inside a NobleProg data centre (inside the EU). It is a dedicated server for a single organisation; no other entity will use that physical hardware.
Should you select a server located outside the EU, local legislation might apply.
On premise server
The server sits directly on the organisation’s own site. The software is set up on that server, and all data stays fully under that organisation’s control.
Data categories
Below are the types of data we collect:
User account / personal data
Shared server
Private server
On-premise server
You need to register an account to get into DaDesktop.
When you decide to sign up for an account, you will hand over some personal details like your name, email address, username, and password.
Gathering this data is essential for giving you access to our services and upholding the security of our platform.
We might use your details to get in touch with you about your account.
We hold onto account information for the entire time your account remains active.
You can shut down your account whenever you want, and once you do, we wipe your account data.
The client can choose to handle users internally or ask NobleProg to take care of user management.
The server can be encrypted to block NobleProg from having any entry.
Absolutely no data is gathered or retained.
NobleProg has no access whatsoever.
Training Room Data (including cloud desktop activity and chat function)
Shared server
Private server
On-premise server
Everything that happens within the Training Room can be watched by the course instructor, training management, and our technical support staff.
We carry out this monitoring so we can assign suitable data resources, assist you with hitches, allow the instructor and management to track course progress, and make sure everyone sticks to our Terms of Service.
Our usage rules forbid users from doing any personal tasks, like checking social media, making financial moves, or running personal web searches.
All information is erased once the course has been signed off as closed.
Any data that is gathered and held stays under the client’s management.
NobleProg has zero access.
Video / Audio Data
Shared server
Private server
On-premise server
DaDesktop can work with a built-in audio and video tool.
This tool runs on NobleProg’s own infrastructure, not any outside software.
Course Desktops, which include the Fresh-start, Trainer, and Participant screens, might be captured when we need to troubleshoot. No audio gets recorded. Those screen recordings are automatically wiped 14 days after the course wraps up. Only NobleProg administrators holding SuperAdmin rights can see these recordings.
Everything that is gathered and stored is managed by the client.
Course Desktops and Recordings may, if needed, be captured for fixing problems and other reasons (as on the Shared Server). Those recordings are the client’s own responsibility, and thanks to an auto-deletion process, they are automatically removed 14 days later.
No data is gathered or stored at all.
NobleProg cannot access any of it.
Record Feature
Shared server
Private server
On-premise server
Clients are free to record the course desktop if they wish.
When the recording function is switched on, NobleProg holds onto that recording and it may be observed. The account owner decides when it gets deleted.
If the account itself is closed, every associated recording is wiped.
Clients can choose to record the course desktop if they want.
All data that is gathered or held is managed directly by the client.
NobleProg has no entry at all.
Technical Support
Reaching out to us for technical help means you must share some personal details, which could cover your name, your employer, email address, phone number, time zone, and the reason you need assistance. We use the support information to solve your issue and to get a sharper picture of the kinds of challenges our users run into. All technical support is handled directly inside NobleProg here in Poland.
