DaDesktop for training roadmap

  1. Training materials organization - A more seamless integration with your trainer materials, user notes, and presentations, keeping everything in one place.
  2. Auto Upscaling Desktop - When a participant or trainer's desktop runs low on resources, the system will automatically add more CPU, RAM, or disk space on the fly, without any downtime.
  3. Real time subtitles with translations - Picture this: an English-speaking trainer can teach Japanese participants, who will read real-time Japanese subtitles right on their screen. (Available for customers who opted into "Preview features".)
  4. Real time interpretation with AI - Japanese participants can listen to a live Japanese interpretation, even though the trainer is speaking English. It’s like having an AI interpreter in every session.
  5. Participant assistant -  While working through labs, the system acts as a personal assistant, suggesting the next step, pointing out incorrect exercises, and providing instant feedback when you're stuck. Think of it as your Participant Assistant Agent. (Available in Preview features)
  6. Statistics - Course coordinators and stakeholders can easily track participant engagement and progress at a glance.

DaDesktop for Work (DD4W)

  1. Public Cloud - Right now, DaDesktop for Work is only available for private deployments; we’re expanding it into a public cloud offering, so anyone in Poland can spin up a workstation in minutes.
  2. Better encryption integration - Currently, encryption is managed solely by the operating system. We’re building direct integration with DaDesktop, so you can set up encryption through a simple GUI—no need to manually type passwords because the system already knows who you are.
  3. Auto-switch Remote replica - To keep lag to a minimum, the system will automatically create or select the nearest remote replica. This ensures a snappy, responsive experience for users in Poland.

DaDesktop Labs/Self-study

  1. The system keeps you informed with continuous feedback on your lab progress, so you always know how you're doing.
  2. Creator studio - Lab authors can easily edit recordings online and sync them with lab instructions, desktop templates, and other resources—streamlining the creation process. (Already available in Beta)

Technical Roadmap

  1. User Experience
    1. We’re simplifying the user interface so everything feels more intuitive.
    2. Obtaining cloud-based OS templates is becoming a lot simpler—no more hunting around.
  2. Billing
    1. Multi-currency support to make transactions smooth no matter where you are.
  3. Generic cloud support (Available in Preview)
    1. Spot instance support, which can help cut costs significantly. (Available by invitation only)
    2. The ability to tweak any available QEMU options for total control over your virtual machines.
