OS Template Naming Convention

Only lowercase letters and dashes are permitted in template names.
Following this naming standard is essential so the application can accurately classify and sort your templates.

<os>

The <os> portion must not include any dashes.

<key><number> 

Examples:
centos8
debian12
win10
ubuntu2404
ubuntu2204

<template>

<os>-template-v<number>

Examples:
debian12-template-v21
ubuntu2204-template-v17
kali-template-v2

<dd4w>

dd4w-tpl-lxc-<os>-v<number>
dd4w-tpl-kvm-<os>-v<number>

Examples:
Every name must begin with 'dd4w-'
Examples:
dd4w-tpl-kvm-win10-v5
dd4w-tpl-lxc-ubuntu2204-v2

Distribution

This section lets you copy, delete, or compare all OS templates available across your cloud environment. Keep in mind that moving a large volume of templates can affect your server’s network performance and overall responsiveness, so it is advisable to schedule copy operations during off-peak hours.
 

Batch Deletion of OS Templates

A recently added capability now supports removing templates from multiple servers simultaneously, turning what used to be a slow, repetitive chore into a swift and straightforward process.

• Simply pick a server that holds the template you need, then choose 'Remove from .. ' (use the 'Remove' option when you only want to delete a single template)
• A filtered list appears, showing only the servers that contain this specific template
• Check the servers from which you want to delete the template
• Click 'Submit' and confirm the operation, and the templates will be removed
