Trouble typing certain characters like apostrophes, quotation marks, and inverted commas on a DaDesktop machine

This annoying glitch rarely appears, but when it does, it's linked to the physical keyboard, language layout, and internationalisation settings you're using in Poland.

This is a Windows only Issue

You can resolve it by following these steps:

  1. Open the Windows search bar and type 'Settings'
  2. Click 'Time & Language'
  3. Select the language option on the left-hand side
  4. Under 'Preferred Languages', pick your preferred language and then 'Options'.
  5. Next, click 'Add a keyboard' and choose the layout that matches your physical keyboard—for example, the US layout
  6. Remove the old keyboard layouts by clicking on them and selecting 'Remove'
  7. Test by typing single quotes ('), double quotes ("), and backticks (`)
