Building from a Standalone Desktop

1. Navigate to your created course—like the Demo course shown here. Next, select the Desktops tab, click the dropdown arrow, and pick "Create from Standalone" to initiate your Fresh Start.

   

2. Select the standalone desktop you've previously used for the course environment (including software, materials, quizzes, etc.).

3. If needed, you can adjust the memory, CPU, and expand the disk size during this step. Then click "Create desktop".

   

4. Your Fresh Start is now set up. From it, both the trainer and participants can quickly clone desktops. 
   
   The Fresh Start serves as the master desktop in the course, enabling simultaneous cloning for everyone—and anyone can restore their environment from it whenever needed.
   
   Through the 'Cog' menu, you'll find a range of additional actions: cloning your Fresh Start to a trainer, participant, or standalone machine; even cloning and resizing for a standalone. You can also move the Fresh Start to a different server, create Snapshots, review Recordings, or configure a Remote Replica.
