Desktop Snapshots
Using Desktop Snapshots
Snapshots let you quickly back up your virtual machine and restore it with ease.
For instance, before performing an upgrade that might break your system, you can shut down the virtual machine and capture a snapshot in advance.
If the upgrade goes well, you can simply delete the snapshot; otherwise, you can revert the machine to its earlier state.
Here Poland, snapshots are available across all DaDesktop variants—Fresh Start, Trainer, Participant, and Standalone machines can all take advantage of them.
Bear in mind that restoring a snapshot will power off the machine, so it's ready to be turned back on afterwards.
Taking Snapshots

This shows the process of capturing a snapshot. Be sure to assign a clear, descriptive name so you can remember exactly when it was taken.

In the following image, you can see two snapshots taken at different moments; you can restore or delete them as needed.

Automated Desktop Snapshots
If you'd rather have snapshots captured at regular intervals so you never miss one, the Automated Desktop Snapshots feature is perfect.
You can set how many snapshots to retain and how often new ones are created right from this configuration area.
