DaDesktop's Supported CPU Architectures (ARM and AMD64)
DaDesktop provides full support for the following CPUs, verified through automated build tests:
Intel and AMD x86 (AMD64)
AMD
- AMD Zen 2 architecture (EPYC 7002, Ryzen)
- AMD Zen 3 (EPYC 7003, Ryzen)
- AMD Zen 4 (EPYC 9004, Ryzen)
- AMD Zen 5 (ES, QS)
Some customers are still using Zen 1 (EPYC 7001) processors.
Intel
- Xeon E3, E5, and E7 (v3 or newer, Haswell)
- Xeon Scalable
- Core i5, i7, i9 (Haswell or newer)
Xeon Sandy Bridge and Ivy Bridge models (E3, E5, E7) seem to work fine, though we do not include them in automated tests.
ARM
- AWS Graviton processors (Graviton 1, 2, 3, and 4)
- Ampere® Altra® Q80-30 or newer
- Kunpeng 920 or newer
Most other models work fine (especially Apple Silicon); if you'd like to test your hardware, please reach out to technical support.
Risc-V
It should work fine, though we haven't tested it thoroughly.
