Setting Up Organizations
When you sign up, an organization with your username as its name is automatically created, so you rarely need to create one manually.
However, you might sometimes need to create a new Organization—for example, under a company name if multiple users from the same company are using DaDesktop.
Note: Creating an organization is only available to Super Admins.

Creating a New Organization in DaDesktop
There are two ways to create an Organization: the default method creates both the organization and an owner account at the same time, while the second skips the owner account, which is handy if one already exists.
Creating an Organization Along with an Owner Account
- You'll need the account owner's email, a password, and their first and last name. You can assign roles as needed. The currency is set based on the portal: dadesktop.com defaults to EUR, while dadesktop.cn uses CNY.
- You also need to provide the Organization name and a short code. Once the code is set, it can't be changed.
- The options for Allowing course recordings or publishing them apply to all recordings across the Organization. The same is true for Receiving Promotional Emails—these settings affect the entire organization.
- 'Allow Recordings' controls whether Recordings are available for everyone in the organization.
- If needed, you can choose Private servers. Just note that a server has to be marked as 'Private' before it shows up here.
